Travel Sales & Client Relationship Executive

Location: VGC, Lagos | Full-time
Salary: ₦220,000 – ₦250,000 monthly + performance incentives + Direct sales commission.

Responsible for growing Akenn’s individual and corporate client base, converting travel enquiries into sales and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.

You will work with clients to understand what they need, recommend suitable travel options, prepare quotations, follow up and see the conversation through to booking.

You will also work closely with the travel and operations team to ensure that what has been sold is delivered properly and the client has a good experience throughout.

What You’ll Do

  • Respond to enquiries from individual and corporate clients across WhatsApp, phone, email and other channels.
  • Understand each client’s travel needs and recommend suitable flights, hotels, holidays, tours, cruises, visas and other travel services.
  • Prepare quotations, itineraries and travel proposals.
  • Follow up consistently and move enquiries through to confirmed bookings.
  • Identify and pursue new individual and corporate clients through referrals, networking, partnerships and outbound outreach.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Keep accurate records of leads, quotations, follow-ups and bookings using our CRM and other sales tools.
  • Work closely with the travel operations team to ensure every client has a smooth experience from booking to return.
  • Work towards agreed sales, conversion and revenue targets.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years’ experience in travel sales, travel consulting, hospitality sales or another customer-facing sales role.
  • A proven ability to convert enquiries or prospects into paying clients.
  • Experience selling travel services to individual clients, corporate clients, or both.
  • Experience preparing quotations, itineraries and following up until bookings are confirmed.
  • Good knowledge of travel products, destinations and the travel booking process.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable using WhatsApp, email, spreadsheets and CRM or other digital tools.
  • Organised, detail-oriented and good at following through on tasks.
  • Able to manage a sales pipeline and take ownership of assigned leads.
  • A genuine interest in travel and creating excellent client experiences.
